01

Who we are

Founded by physicians, for physicians.

The Alliance began with a simple observation: Muslim physicians across North Texas were doing extraordinary work in isolation from one another. There was no directory, no referral network, no shared calendar — and no structured way for the next generation to learn from the current one.

Ten years on, we are more than a thousand members strong. We run accredited CME, we place students into observerships with practising physicians, and we hold free health fairs in the communities that need them most. All of it is volunteer-led.

What we do

Four commitments, one alliance.

01 — Connect

A referral network you can actually trust

Every listing is checked against the national provider registry and kept current by the physician themselves.

506
02 — Educate

Accredited CME, run by people who practise

Conferences and training that keep members current and credentialed, taught by faculty from across North Texas.

03 — Mentor

Observerships

Students and international graduates shadow practising members.

04 — Serve

Community clinics

Free screenings and health education across the Metroplex.

And beyond

Group purchasing, legal counsel, EMR support

Practical help for the business side of practising medicine — the part nobody teaches in residency.

02

The network

Find a Muslim physician near you.

Search 506 verified listings by specialty, the language spoken at home, and whether the practice is taking new patients. Built for patients first — and doubling as the Alliance's own referral directory.

Verified

Registry checked

Credentials confirmed before a listing goes live, then re-checked every 90 days.

Current

Self-managed

Physicians update their own details. No stale numbers, no closed practices.

Human

Language first

Filter by Urdu, Arabic, Bengali, Farsi — the way families actually search.

DMMA highlight film
Highlight filmA year at the Alliance, in ninety seconds

Footage from DMMA events across the year. In the live build this slot carries a short walkthrough of the directory — a family searching in Urdu, filtering to Plano, and reaching a verified cardiologist.

Why the network is different

Listings you can actually trust

Credential verification01 — Verified against the registry
Physician updating a listing02 — Kept current by the doctor
Family searching for a doctor03 — Searchable the way patients think

Each physician's credentials, specialty and practice address are confirmed against the national provider registry before the listing goes live — then re-checked every 90 days.

Members update their own listing from their dashboard. No stale phone numbers, no closed practices, no admin chasing anyone for changes.

Filter by the language spoken at home, the city you live in, and whether the practice is taking new patients — the way families actually search.

02

Common questions

Before you search.

No. The directory is open to everyone. Membership is for physicians who want to be listed, host observerships or access member benefits.

Every physician's National Provider Identifier is matched against the federal registry, confirming their name, credentials, specialty and practice address. Nobody can list themselves without a valid record.

Physicians can edit their listing at any time from their dashboard, and we re-check credentials against the registry every 90 days automatically.

Not yet. Each listing shows the practice's contact details so you can call or use their own booking system. Direct booking is on the roadmap.

Enter your NPI number on the join page. Most of your profile fills itself in, you add your languages and availability, and your listing goes live once membership is confirmed.

We verify credentials, not clinical outcomes. Listings confirm that a physician is licensed and practising — choosing a doctor remains your decision.

Are you a physician?

Add your practice to the network. Enter your registry number and most of the form fills itself — it takes about a minute.

01

Step one

Verify your credentials.

Why it matters

Verification protects everyone

For patients

Real doctors only

Nobody can list themselves as a physician without a matching record in the national registry.

For members

No duplicate entries

One provider number, one listing. The directory stays clean as it grows.

For the board

No manual vetting

Credential checks happen automatically instead of landing in someone's inbox.

How it works

Four steps to membership

01

Verify your NPI

Your professional details fill themselves in.

02

Choose your plan

Free, Basic or Premium — whichever fits your practice.

03

Add the human part

Languages, availability, a short bio and a photo.

04

Go live

Your listing publishes and your dashboard unlocks.
